The Nundah Village Street Festival is back! Get ready for a jam-packed weekend that will cater to all audiences and ages, with events and activities showcasing the rich and diverse Nundah community.

The Festival, organised by a group of local volunteers, celebrates Nundah’s past, the present, and looks to the future of the much-loved Nundah Village. The Festival was awarded Community Event of the Year at the 2017 Lord Mayor’s Australia Day Awards.

Festival weekend will kick off on Friday, 7 September with fireworks and a movie under the stars in Boyd Park, Nundah, starting from 4.30pm. Bring a picnic rug, grab a sausage sizzle and join other locals for a screening of Paddington 2, sponsored by Northgate Ward Councillor Adam Allan.

The festivities will continue on Saturday, 8 September with the opening of the Festival Art Show at 10am at the Northside Honda Workshop, on the corner of Sandgate Road and Wood Street. The Festival Art Show Soiree will be held that evening at 6.30pm, where the art show winners will be announced.
